Highdown Bindery
Hi, I am Stew, my background is in engineering within the photographic industry. I came to bookbinding in 2012 when bookbinder Hannah More offered me an apprenticeship, I quickly discovered that I loved bookbinding and have never looked back. Hannah and I formed Highdown Bindery in 2015. Hannah retired from the business in 2022 and I am proud to continue the age old tradition with a vision to grow the business and teach others this wonderful art.
The aim at Highdown Bindery is to provide the highest quality bookbinding services, be that new bespoke bindings, repairs and restoration of old treasured books, or personal projects that require a unique and specific approach.
