Highdown Bindery
Hi, I am Stew, my background is in engineering within the photographic industry. I came to bookbinding in 2012 when bookbinder Hannah More offered me an apprenticeship, I quickly discovered that I loved bookbinding and have never looked back. Hannah and I formed Highdown Bindery in 2015. Hannah retired from the business in 2022 and I am proud to continue the age old tradition with a vision to grow the business and teach others this wonderful art.​

The aim at Highdown Bindery is to provide the highest quality bookbinding services, be that new bespoke bindings, repairs and restoration of old treasured books, or personal projects that require a unique and specific approach.
