Leather is the ultimate in luxury and longevity. There is nothing quite like a leather bound book, it feels so tactile in the hand, looks fantastic and lasts for many decades, often centuries.
We can repair and restore old leather bound books or rebind them when books are beyond repair, however you would be surprised at what can be saved and restored so its always worth a call to discuss.
We can also create completely new leather bindings for a new book, or rebind old loved books. We use high quality vegetable tanned leather produced in the UK using traditional methods. Leather books are available in various styles, such as full, half and quarter bindings. To preserve your leather volumes we are happy to make you a protective box or slipcase. We offer a wide range of handmade marbled papers, both traditional and contemporary. Along with plain coloured paper these can be used as end papers or combined with leathers on half or quarter bindings.
